The Base Lite is the smaller member of the Base family. It's built to the same fully cassetted design as the Base Plus, just in more compact proportions — a good fit for smaller patios, balconies and shop windows. We cover Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool and the surrounding area.

The Base Plus, in a smaller size

Not every patio needs a big awning. The Base Lite takes the same fully cassetted design as our best-selling Base Plus and builds it in more compact proportions, up to 4m wide. It's a lovely fit for smaller gardens, balconies, terraced houses and shop windows.

Protected when closed

When you wind it in, the arms and fabric fold neatly into the cassette. That keeps everything clean, dry and out of the sun, so the fabric lasts longer and the awning looks tidy on the wall.

Easy to fit

The Base Lite hangs from one bracket at each end and can be fixed to the wall or up under a ceiling or soffit. A simple screw-in adjustment lets us set the pitch on site, so the shade lands where you need it.

Sizes

Choose from three arm lengths — 1.6m, 2.1m or 2.6m — with widths from 1.91m up to 4m. We'll measure the space and recommend the size that shades the area you use most.

Projections and the minimum overall width needed for each:

Maximum width is 4m. All sizes use two brackets, one at each end.

What's the difference between the Base Lite and the Base Plus?

They share the same fully cassetted design. The Base Lite is built in smaller proportions — up to 4m wide with projections up to 2.6m — while the Base Plus goes up to a 3.1m projection and has more frame colour choices.

From 1.91m up to a maximum of 4m wide, depending on the projection you choose.

Can it go on a balcony or under a soffit?

Often, yes. It can be top-fixed to a ceiling or face-fixed to a wall. We'll check the fixing when we visit.
