Why conservatory blinds matter
A conservatory can be the brightest room in the house — and the hardest to keep comfortable. Strong sun through the roof brings glare and heat, while large areas of glass can leave the room feeling exposed. The right blinds help you use the space more often, whatever the time of year.
Roof and windows
- Roof: pleated roof blinds are held in tension, so they stay in place on sloping glass. If some panes are out of reach, motorised options mean you don't need to stretch or climb to open and close them.
- Side windows: pleated, Perfect Fit®, roller or vertical blinds, depending on the look you'd like and the type of window.
- Doors: blinds that fix to the door panels move with them, so you can open the doors without moving the blind out of the way.
Things to consider
- Measuring: conservatories have many pane sizes and angles, so each one needs measuring individually. That's something we'll take care of for you.
- Fabric choice: reflective-backed fabrics help with the sun, while the colour facing into the room can be chosen to suit your décor.
- Expectations: blinds help manage glare and heat, but they won't turn a conservatory into a fully insulated room. We'd rather be honest about that from the start.
Measuring and fitting
We measure every pane at a free home appointment and fit the blinds ourselves, so you don't have to worry about getting the sizes right. For inspiration, see our conservatory ideas.
