Curtains that follow the bay
Bay windows are lovely features, but they can be tricky to dress. A straight pole can't follow the shape, and off-the-shelf tracks rarely fit. So we measure the angles of your bay and have a track shaped to suit it, which lets the curtains glide round the corners.
Choosing a heading
The heading is the way the top of the curtain is gathered. Wave curtains give soft, even folds that suit modern rooms, while pinch pleat and pencil pleat headings bring a more traditional look. If you're torn between them, we'll talk you through each one.
Warmth and darkness
Bays often have several panes of glass, so they can feel chilly. Thermal and blackout linings help — we'd usually suggest blackout if the bay is in a bedroom.
Blinds plus curtains
Many of our customers combine a blind in each pane with curtains on a bent track, which gives you light control during the day and a softer finish at night. You might also like to look at bay window shutters, or read our bay window guide for more ideas.
