Appointments and quotes

Our home appointments are free and come with no obligation. We bring samples, measure each window and leave you with a written quote. It helps if everyone who'll be making the decision can be there, but if not, we're happy to leave the details so you can talk it over together.

Products

Every window is different, so the best choice really depends on the room and what you'd like the window dressing to do — keep light out, give you privacy, or simply finish the room nicely. Your questions about faqs

Do you charge for coming out to measure?

Yes, it really is. We visit, measure and quote free of charge, and there's no obligation to order.

Do I need to measure my windows first?

No, there's no need — leave that to us. We measure every window ourselves at your appointment, so your products are made to accurate sizes.

Can I mix products in one room?

Yes. Blinds with curtains is a popular combination — the blind handles light and privacy, while the curtains add softness. We can quote for both at the same appointment.

Which blinds are best for bathrooms and kitchens?

For rooms with steam and splashes, we'd usually point you towards moisture-resistant, wipe-clean options such as faux wood venetians, some roller fabrics and cellular blinds. You'll find more on our wipe-clean blinds page.

Can blinds go on tilt and turn windows or bi-fold doors?

Yes. Blinds that fix to the glazing bead (the strip around the edge of the glass), such as Perfect Fit®, move with the window or door when you open it, so nothing gets in the way.

Do you supply outdoor products?

Yes, we supply and fit awnings, pergolas, external screens, canopies and flyscreens. Have a look at our Outdoor Living page for more.

Are your blinds child safe?

Yes. We supply blinds that meet child safety requirements and fit the correct safety devices, then show you how they work. You can read more on our Safety First page.

Can you repair a blind you didn't supply?

Often, yes — it depends on the product and whether parts are available. Our repairs and spares page explains what to send us so we can advise.
