Blinds for commercial spaces
Windows at work ask more of a blind than windows at home. Depending on the space, your blinds may need to cut glare on screens, darken a training room, stand up to heavy daily use, be easy to clean, or give a consistent look across a whole building. We'll survey your premises, look at how each space is used, and recommend blinds that suit it — so you're not paying for features a room doesn't need.
How we work
- Survey: we visit, measure every window and talk through what you need from each space.
- Recommendation: we suggest blind types and fabrics for each area and explain why.
- Quote: a clear quote based on your requirements and our measurements.
- Fitting: our own team installs the blinds, with the work planned to limit disruption to your business.
Choosing blinds for your premises
Every business is different, so we don't start with a fixed package. The right blind depends on the size of the window and which way it faces, how each room is used and the look you want to create. We can advise on blinds for offices, cafés and restaurants, salons, hotels and rental properties — from practical, hard-wearing fabrics to styles that reflect your brand. If you're not sure where to begin, we'll show you a few options side by side.
Sectors
You'll find more detail on our pages for offices, schools, healthcare, hospitality, landlords and retail.
Commercial blinds that last
Commercial blinds get far more use than blinds at home, so we'd usually suggest robust mechanisms and fabrics that are easy to clean. In kitchens, washrooms and clinical areas, wipe-clean blinds are the practical choice. Where a specification asks for it, flame-retardant and antibacterial contract fabrics, including Blindtex ranges, are available, and Decora Uniview screen fabrics cut glare while keeping a view out. Our commercial and healthcare fabrics page explains the options.
Safety, motorisation and upkeep
Anywhere children or vulnerable people may be present, we'll recommend controls without looped cords, such as cordless, tensioned or motorised systems. Motorised blinds use Somfy motors and controls, and they're especially useful for high or hard-to-reach windows, as a whole run can be operated from one wall switch or on a timer.
Once your blinds are fitted, we can keep a record of what went where, so extra blinds or replacements match later. Where something breaks, it can often be repaired rather than replaced — see our repairs and spares page.
