Blinds and shutters for homes in Bishop Auckland

Bishop Auckland is a historic market town, best known for Auckland Castle, and the housing reflects that history: stone-built terraces and Victorian houses near the Market Place, traditional homes in the surrounding villages and newer estates on the edge of town. Older properties often have deep recesses and taller windows, which suit Roman blinds, wooden blinds or made-to-measure curtains, while newer homes with uPVC windows are a good match for Perfect Fit® blinds.

Popular choices in Bishop Auckland

Stone houses can feel chilly in winter, so thermal options are often on people's lists, including cellular blinds and lined curtains. In bedrooms, a blackout roller or Roman blind is the usual starting point. For a front room with a bay, our bay window shutters follow the angles of the bay and are typically fitted around two weeks from order.
