Made-to-Measure Blinds in Peterlee
We supply and fit made-to-measure blinds, shutters and curtains across Peterlee and the villages along the Durham coast, with a free home visit to start.
Peterlee is a straightforward drive up the A19 from our Stockton-on-Tees showroom, and we visit homes across the town as well as Horden, Easington, Shotton Colliery, Castle Eden, Blackhall and Wingate.
Blinds and shutters for homes in Peterlee
Peterlee was built as a new town after the war, so much of the housing has regular, practical window sizes, with older terraces in the surrounding colliery villages and newer homes on more recent estates. Terraces with a front bay often suit bay window shutters or curtains on a bent track, while modern windows and doors work well with Perfect Fit® blinds.
Popular choices in Peterlee
Homes near the coast can catch strong morning light and a fair bit of wind, so blackout blinds for bedrooms and day and night blinds for living rooms are both popular. In kitchens and bathrooms we'd usually suggest faux wood Venetians or a wipe-clean roller fabric, which cope well with steam. For patios that catch the breeze, an awning with a Somfy wind sensor closes itself when it gets gusty, which saves you keeping an eye on the weather.

Our blind ranges
Blinds for every room
Every blind is made to your measurements. For bedrooms, blackout roller and Roman blinds are the usual starting point; for living rooms, Venetian, vertical and day and night blinds give you flexible daylight; and for modern windows and doors, Perfect Fit® blinds sit neatly within the frame. We also make shutters and curtains, and we'll talk through the options at your visit.
Peterlee
From new town homes to colliery village terraces
Around Peterlee you'll find practical new town housing, traditional terraces in the former colliery villages and newer estates. We look at each window individually rather than offering a standard package, so everything fits properly.
Beyond blinds
Shutters, curtains, awnings and commercial
Premier's made-to-measure range extends well beyond blinds. Explore each range to compare styles, then we can bring samples to your consultation.
Motorised & smart
Motorised blinds and curtains
Motorisation makes larger, taller or hard-to-reach windows easy to control, and can be added to many of our made-to-measure blinds and curtains. Operate them by remote, wall switch or app, and set schedules that suit the way you use each room.
We'll talk through suitable motorised options during your consultation.
